May 1st - Calendar Trivia


 On this day - May 1st, 1923 Joseph Heller Author of  (among other work) the Novel "Catch-22" was born.  

 Still a common turn of phrase, "Catch-22" often refers to an impossibly absurd circular logic. 

Heller died in 1999.
